2009级第三学期大学英语教学计划

一. 教学目标和要求

以培养学生的英语综合应用能力为主,在听、说、读、写、译方面达到教育部《大学英语课程要求》所提出的基本要求或较高要求,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力,打下扎实的语言基础,提高文化素养,以适应社会发展和经济建设的需要。一般要求的具体内容如下:

1.在听力方面:能听懂英语讲课,并能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材讲座。能基本听懂慢速英语节目,语速为每分钟130词左右,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要点。能运用基本的听力技巧帮助理解。

2.在口头表达方面:能在学习过程中用英语交流,能就某一主题进行讨论,能就日常话题和英语国家的人士进行交谈,能就熟悉的话题稍做准备后作简短发言,表达比较清楚,语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。

3.阅读理解能力:能阅读并正确理解语言难度中等的一般题材的文章,掌握中心大意,了解说明中心大意的事实和细节,能根据所读材料进行一定的分析、推理和判断,了解作者的观点和态度,阅读速度达到每分钟70词。在阅读篇幅较长、难度略低、生词不超过总词数3%的材料时,能正确理解中心大意,抓住主要事实和有关细节,阅读速度达每分钟100词。能基本读懂国内英文报刊,掌握中心思想,理解主要事实和有关细节。能读懂工作、生活中常见的应用文体的材料。能在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法。

4.书面表达能力:能完成一般性写作任务,能描述个人经历、观感、情感和发生的事件等,能写常见的应用文,能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出120词的短文,内容基本完整,用词恰当,语意连贯。能掌握基本的写作技能。

5.翻译能力:能借助词典对题材熟悉的文章进行英汉互译,英汉译速为每小时300英语单词,汉英译速为每小时250个汉字。译文基本流畅,能在翻译时使用适当的翻译技巧。

6.词汇量:掌握的词汇量应达到4500个单词和700个词组(含中学应掌握的词汇),其中2000个单词为积极词汇,即要求学生能够在认知的基础上学会熟练运用,包括口头和书面表达两个方面(见《大学英语课程教学要求(试行)》参考词汇表)。

二. 教学指导思想

1.学习动力是学好英语的根本。教学中要采取各种措施和办法,提高学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性。

2.正确的学习方法和良好的学习习惯是学好英语的保证。教学中要始终注意在这些方面对学生加以培养和引导。

3. 既要加强语言基础的训练,也应注重应用能力的培养。

4. 在注意培养学生具有较强的阅读能力的同时,也要加强听、说、写、译等语言技能的综合训练,尤其要注重口头和书面表达能力的训练与培养,引导学生学以致用。

5. 因材施教,从学生的实际水平出发,安排相应的教学内容。博采众长,采用适当而有效的教学方法。

6. 在总的教学计划之下,教师可视情况适当变动、增删一些教学内容。

三.教学安排

本学期1-18周上课(其中“国庆”放假3天,中秋放假1天,亚运会放假1天),综合课上至第16周,第17周口语考试,第18周答疑,第19-20周期末考试。本学期教学总时数:68学时

教学模式:每周一次在多媒体教室上课(综合课),内容侧重于综合教程的学习和阅读/扩展教程的难点讲解;一次安排在计算机教室上机学习(听说课),内容侧重于听说和快速阅读。教师应利用学生上机学习的时间开展形式多样的教学活动与检查,这些活动可以是:口语活动、口语检查、作业检查、了解学习情况、指导学习、谈心等。每节课(45分钟)与学生面谈或搞活动的人数应不少于12人。每位学生每学期应有3次以上口语成绩记录。教学检查的成绩必须做记录,期中交教研室主任检查,期末交综合课教师,作为学生平时成绩的一部分,最后由教研室统一存档。

教学内容:

1.A班完成《新世纪大学英语》综合教程第四册1-7单元、第8单元自学;《大学英语》(全新版)阅读教程以及《新世纪大学英语》快速阅读教程第四册1-8单元的内容,每单元8学时。听说课完成《大学英语》(全新版)听力教程第四册的全部内容。

2. B班完成《新世纪大学英语》综合教程第三册1-7单元、第8单元自学;《大学英语》(全新版)阅读教程以及《新世纪大学英语》快速阅读第三册1-8单元的内容,每单元8学时。听说课完成《大学英语》(全新版)听力教程第三册的全部内容。

3. C班完成综合教程第三册5-8单元和第四册1-3单元、《大学体验英语》扩展教程第三册6-8单元和第四册1-4单元、《大学体验英语》快速阅读教程第三册的内容。学有余力的学生可读网络版阅读文章(Passage E、F、G、H)。听说课完成《大学体验英语》听说教程第三册的全部内容。

4.艺术班完成《大学体验英语》第一册1-6单元的内容。听说课完成《大学体验英语》听说教程第二册6-20单元的内容。每单元8学时。

5. A/B/C班均以《新世纪大学英语听力》作为我校的课外泛听教材。A/B班完成第四册,C班完成第三册。具体安排将在我校英语学习报和英语学习网上另行通知。期末考试中约40%的听力内容将选自该教材

四. 教学质量的检查与评估

1.教师教学质量评估

鼓励集体备课、同行听课;成立由学院领导、专家、教学团队负责人和部分教师组成的听课小组,进行不定时听课,并在条件成熟时组织公开课;每年组织学生对任课教师进行一次测评,对教学效果好的教师进行表彰。

2.学生学习成绩评定

1)学期总评成绩=期末卷面考试成绩(50%)+综合课平时成绩(15%)+口语成绩(20%)+上机

成绩(15%)。

2)综合课平时成绩按五级制记分,A(优),B+(良),B(中),C(及格),F(不及格),期末再量化计入总分。A:90-100分;B+:80-89分;B:70-79分;C:60-69分;F:50分左右。平时成绩及课堂表现可检查的项目有:听力练习、听写、翻译、写作、小测验、阅读理解练习(泛读、快读)、预习、各种课堂口语活动、上课出勤及听讲情况等。

3) 学生在自主学习中心的上机学习成绩根据学生出勤情况、上机学习的时数和完成任务的多少以及质量综合评定。口语成绩由听说课(自主学习中心)教师考察评定。

3. 学期末分别设臵口语考试和笔试。总评不及格者必须在下一个学期开学后参加重考。重

考再不及格者必须重修。

1) 考试形式:口语考试每学期一次,安排在期末进行。口语考试内容主要以课堂口语

教学内容为依据。其中,平时口语成绩占10%,期末口语考试成绩占10%。

2) 笔试题型:大学英语考试(笔试)每学期期末统考一次,题型包括听力、词汇与语

法、阅读、翻译(四级新题型中的汉译英)、综合填空、写作等,各题型大致比例分别为25%,15%,30%,10%,5%,和15%(考试题型和各题型比例根据实际情况可能会略作调整)。

3) 笔试命题范围:笔试内容有相当一部分出自教学安排中的教学内容,其中:听力题有30%左右的题来自课外,30%左右的题来自课内听说教材,另外40%左右的题来自课外泛听教材《新世纪大学英语听力》的内容,有短对话,长对话及短文,题型为多项选择题(4选1)及填空题。词汇与语法为多项选择题(4选1),主要考本学期学过的“综合教程”中的词汇和语法、但也包括少量的本学期学过的“阅读教程”(A/B班)/ “扩展教程”(C班)中的词汇。阅读理解部分共有3篇文章,1篇较长的文章选自《阅读教程》,题型和四级新题型中的Skimming and Scanning一样,有多项选择(4选1)和填空题;2篇较短的文章其中1篇选自“阅读教程”和“综合教程”(A/B班)/“扩展教程”(C班),题型为四级新题型Reading in Depth的选词填空题,另1篇选自课外,题型为多项选择题(4选1)。10分的汉译英全部选自综合教程Text A/B中出现的句型和短语,题型和四级新题型中的汉译英一样,只译所要求部分。选择填空题(Cloze)从本学期学过的“综合教程”阅读文章段落中选两段文,选择填空。写作与综合教程所学的主题和内容相关。(具体考试大纲约在第12周公布,其内容可能会略作调整,期末笔试题型及各题型分值以考试大纲公布内容为准)。

五. 大学英语课堂教学管理

1.平时作业三分之一以上未交者,不得参加学期考试。

2.无故旷课一次,从平时成绩中扣2分。

3.无故旷课三分之一以上者,取消期末考试资格。

4.迟到一次,从平时成绩中扣0.5分。

5.生病或有事须及时书面向任课教师请假,否则视为无故旷课。

三、口语能力要求

第二学期要求学生根据不同场景及所给相关问题作简要的发言、讨论或表演对话。
